Mariano

Mariano was born in Argentina in 1979, where he cofounded the first Urban Social circus school, in Buenos Aires city, “Trivenchi.” In Argentina, he worked in circus production, venue event planning, was a comic actor, clown and juggler. He also worked as a production manager on a gubernatorial election campaign.

In 2008, Mariano was "discovered" and brought to North America by Cirque Du Soleil. He performed with Cirque du Soleil's North American production in Las Vegas from 2008-2017. After his time in Cirque Du Solieil, Mariano founded his custom wood shop, Jaja Woods where he worked until his family moved to Portland in 2020.
JaJa Woods now operates from Portland and Mariano continues his journey as an artist and works towards social practices that can enrich the human existence!

Blue

Blue is a mixed media and social forms artist who works to create opportunities for artists in Portland. Blue’s art is often related to social justice initiatives and is designed to raise awareness and have a positive community impact.

He has created and curated several gallery spaces and art shows in Portland. He was the lead artist for the UFCW 555 Campaign for Wage Equity and has also created a gallery for currently and formerly incarcerated artists. Additionally, Blue is also the co-founder of the ADX Gallery that sold over $20,000 worth of art during the pandemic with 100% of the proceeds going to the artists. Wherever he goes, Blue makes it his personal mission to give artists a place where they feel safe, supported and loved.
